Delete account

This page explains how to delete your SPOTTER account and associated data (Mindfull Studio).
How to request deletion
- Open the SPOTTER app and sign in with the account you want deleted.
- Go to Me → Account settings.
- Choose Delete account and confirm. (If you do not see the button yet, use step 4.)
- Or open Me → Contact us, select General Feedback / Other, and write that you want your account deleted. Include the email on the account.
You may also email a deletion request from the same address used for the account via Contact us in the app.
What we delete
- Your account profile (email, display name, handle, bio, avatar, password hash)
- Your posts (photos, captions, map pins) and reactions you made
- Follows, bookmarks, calendar saves, geo-alert prefs, and push tokens tied to the account
- Direct messages and post-chat messages you sent (where stored against your user id)
- Support / feedback tickets linked to your user id
What may be retained
- Short-lived server logs needed for security and abuse prevention (typically purged on a rolling schedule)
- Aggregated, de-identified analytics that cannot identify you
- Records we must keep for legal compliance (if any), for the minimum period required
Timing
In-app deletion removes your account promptly from our systems. Contact-us requests are processed as soon as practicable, usually within a few days. After deletion you will not be able to sign in with that account.
